Uses:   · Significantly improves the appearance of existing scars · Helps prevent the formation of scars on newly healed wounds

What is Neosporin ® Scar Solution ® ?

Neosporin Scar Solution Silicone Scar Sheets are indicated for use on raised and discolored scars. Silicone sheet technology is clinically proven to significantly improve the appearance of scars and has been used by burn centers and plastic surgeons for years. Each sheet is thin, self-adhesive and fabric-backed, which makes Neosporin Scar Solution convenient to wear under clothing.

How does Neosporin Scar Solution work?

Neosporin Scar Solution sheets use patented Silon ® technology, and are believed to mimic the natural barrier function of normal skin- improving the appearance of scars, both new and old. Silicone sheets have been shown to improve the appearance of scars, even those that are years old.

One package of Neosporin Scar Solution provides the full, 12-week supply recommended to improve the appearance of scars.

What types of scars does Neosporin Scar Solution work on?

Neosporin Scar Solution sheets are effective on keloids and hypertrophic scars, which are distinguished by a raised and discolored appearance. These scars may result from burns, surgical procedures and minor skin injuries.

Are Neosporin Scar Solution sheets effective on both existing and new scars?

Neosporin Scar Solution sheets are effective on existing scars and may help prevent the formation of scars on newly closed, dry wounds.

Can Neosporin Scar Solution sheets be used anywhere on the body?

When used as directed, Neosporin Scar Solution sheets can be used on any part of the body. For certain body parts (such as flexible joints), medical tape may be used to hold sheets in place.

Can I wear Neosporin Scar Solution sheets at the gym or in the shower?

Although Neosporin Scar Solution sheets may be worn while exercising or bathing, it is recommended that sheets be removed.

Can Neosporin Scar Solution sheets be used for various sizes of scars?

Yes, Neosporin Scar Solution sheets can be used for various sizes of scars; however, the sheet should extend completely around the scarred area.

How do I apply Neosporin Scar Solution?

    Step 1

Wash and dry existing scar or newly healed wound area to remove dirt, make-up, moisturizers, etc. Do not use on open wounds.

    Step 2

Tear open packet and peel off liner from adhesive side of sheet.

    Step 3

Apply sheet with adhesive side directly on scar. Sheet should cover beyond the scarred area on all sides.

    Step 4

Remove and wash sheet daily to improve adhesion. Each sheet can be worn for 3-4 days days. After 3-4 days, discard old sheet in trash and replace with new one.

    Usage Tips

    • Each sheet should be worn for a minimum of 12 hours per day.
    • Gradual improvements may be seen in 4-8 weeks.
    • Sheets can be cut to fit the size of smaller scars, or applied side by side for larger scars. Trim sheet prior to removing from liner.
    • Wash sheet with mild soap and water to improve adhesion before wearing. To dry, pat fabric side of sheet.
    • Medical tape may be used to hold sheets in place, if necessary.
