  • Tegrin Skin Cream (Glaxosmithkline)

    Description:    Tegrin® Skin Cream for Psoriasis contains 5% Coal Tar Solution, USP, equivalent to 0.8% Coal Tar and alcohol of 4.7%.

    Active Ingredient:    5% Coal Tar Solution, USP, equivalent to 0.8% Coal Tar.

    Use:    relieves itching, flaking and irritation of the skin associated with psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.

    Directions:    Apply to affected areas one to four times daily or as directed by a doctor.

    Warnings:

    For external use only

    Ask a doctor before use if you have psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis that covers a large area of the body

    Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are using other forms of psoriasis therapy such as ultraviolet radiation or prescription drugs

    When using this product

    • avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
    • use caution in exposing skin to sunlight after application. It may increase tendency to sunburn for up to 24 hours after application.
    • do not use for prolonged periods
    • do not use in or around the rectum or in the genital area or groin

    Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or does not improve after regular use

    Warning:    This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer.

    Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

    Inactive Ingredients:    Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, Alcohol (4.7%), Carbomer-934P, Ceteth-2, Ceteth-16, Cetyl Acetate, Cetyl Alcohol, D&C Red No. 28, Fragrance, Glyceryl Tribehenate, Laneth-16, Lanolin Alcohol, Laureth-23, Methyl Gluceth-20, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Mineral Oil, Octyldodecanol, Oleth-16, Petrolatum, Potassium Hydroxide, Purified Water, Steareth-16, Stearyl Alcohol, Titanium Dioxide.

    How Supplied:    Tegrin® Skin Cream for Psoriasis is available in a 2 oz (57g) tube.
