    Eye Lubricant and Demulcent

Description of VIVA® Lubricating Eye Drops: VIVA® Lubricating Eye Drops are preservative-free in a multi-dose bottle. It is a patented, non-oily/glycerin free (no blurring of vision) sterile ophthalmic lubricant that is designed to provide instant moisturizing Dry Eye relief and protect the eyes from further damage and prevent further irritation. It is a tear-balanced, anti-oxidant based low viscosity solution that also contains iron chelating agents. It is designed to promote healing, restore electrolyte balance and to scavenge for the free-radical by-products of inflammation. Though a low viscosity solution, the ingredients create a complex with the lipocalin in the tears which increases the lipid integrity and therefore, the "dwell time" of the solution on the eye. Clinical studies show that TBUT is increased by an average of 132% over baseline while the product is in regular use. The product has a four year shelf life when unopened. It is labeled to be discarded after 30 days of use by the consumer.

Uses:    Temporary relief of discomfort, burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye or from exposure to wind, sun, computer use, environmental conditions, prescription medication, post surgical Dry Eye, or systemically induced Dry Eye.

FDA Approved Indication:    FOR USE AS A LUBRICANT AND FOR PROTECTION AGAINST FURTHER IRRITATION OR TO RELIEVE DRYNESS OF THE EYE.

Directions:    Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.

Discard bottle and contents 30 days after opening. Store at room temperature.

Warnings:    For external use only. To avoid contamination replace cap after use. Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy.

Stop use and ask a doctor:

If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation, or if condition persists for more than 72 hours. Keep this and all other drugs out of reach of children.
